  The electric bike tour we did of Slea Head was the best thing that we experienced on our trip. I had never heard of electric bikes, so it was… read more all new to me. A quick explanation and basic biking experience is all that it takes! We biked the Slea Head Loop..23 miles I think…and it was amazing. Biking this trek is far superior to driving the loop in my opinion. So many sights and attractions to stop at and the hills were easily managed with the boost from the bikes. So So much fun! The owner and his son were easy to deal with and very accommodating. You do not want to miss this experience.

  We rented 6 electric bikes through their website and picked them up the next morning. Website was very easy to use. John who runs the shop is hilarious and attentive.… read more He gave us a map with suggestions before we headed out, and very kindly waited for us when we were running late!

The e-bikes are a perfect way to get around Slea Head. They give you the freedom to move around, enjoy the variety of sites at your leisure, and really give you a new perspective on the place. We went for a swim in Ventry, saw beehive huts, had lunch, visited other beaches and viewpoints and rounded it off with a pint at Tigh T.P’s.

As someone who has regularly visited Dingle, I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience. Perfect for a sunny day out on the peninsula!

Amazing really. John got us set up and ready to go in the morning. He took the time to give us plenty of added info on places to visit and things to see. Many pubs and cafés along the route. The bikes were 100%reliable and in good working order.

We cycled around Slea Head to Ventry and decided to double back to Ballyferriter, via a pit stop in the Stonehouse Restaurant and also in Kruger’s pub.Two very different tours, with stunning views each way.

A glorious day helped, but, whatever the weather, don’t miss this.

I think it’s definitely better, to maximize the enjoyment and overall experience, as well as to minimize a range of impacts, to go by e-bike rather than by car. I say thi seven though I battled a ferocious headwind much f the way (just be appropriately attired). A terrific experience from top to bottom. Highly recommended.
