We had an amazing time renting bikes from John! He was so friendly and helpful in getting us oriented, and when we said we wanted to ride Slea Head, he… read more took the time to handwrite some of the stops on the map he gave us and point out landmarks we should watch out for. Of course, the ride was gorgeous and one of our favorite parts about our trip to Dingle. You can’t beat it!

Renting the e-bikes to tour the Dingle Peninsula was the highlight of our trip. John was so helpful in giving us tips on the best views, animal & other informational… read more experiences & good pubs for where to stop on the map he gave us. He also provided his number in case we needed any assistance. I don’t think there is a better way to do it. The e-bike aspect makes a long day of biking feel very effortless.

Had a great time. This is great crack, very safe and comfortable way to explore this beautiful place. John was amazing! He told us where to go, where have a… read more bite to eat, where the best views are and all with the smile and joke. Highly recommended if you’re in Dingle!

Yes, John is entertaining and gives you great advice!
I don’t think there is a better way to experience the area than this. Go ahead and cheat and turn… read more the bike all the way up, and enjoy! The trip is amazing and biking it is way more impactful than riding in a car (or bus!), so rent one of these and get it done! Cars are respectful and you never feel like you are going to get hit- I guess they are used to it and everyone looks out for you. Take your time and go explore. You will want to be in "decent" shape for this, but you should worry more about being "saddle-sore" than your burning quads- the bike actually helps more if you don’t pedal as fast (in my experience). I recommend you park them whenever something grabs your interest, and go explore it and come back. John is super relaxed and helpful, if you need him!

This was the most fun thing we did in Ireland. This is definitely the way to see the Dingle peninsula — we were so glad we didn’t just drive it.… read more We took about 6 hours total to circle the peninsula, veering off the trail for all sorts of interesting sites and excursions. Almost everything to see / stop at is in the first “half” of the trip. It took us around 4.5 hours to get to Krugers and less than 1.5 hours to get back to Dingle after that.
The bikes had plenty of juice for the trip. We were worried that we were down to 3 bars of 6 at Krugers (with the mountain pass ahead of us), but we used less than a bar going back to Dingle from there.
I got a flat tire about 1/3rd of the way in. A quick call to John and he was on his way. I checked google maps and we were an 18 minute drive from Dingle at the time and John showed up in 19 minutes. On this trip, even a flat tire is not an inconvenience — it gave us an opportunity to relax and enjoy the view for a bit.
I can’t say enough good things about Dingle Electric Bikes!

Great electric bikes, took the pain away from the peninsula tour, which was stunning even though it was really windy. Lovely coffee stop over looking Blasket Islands too.

Our group of 4 rented electric bikes to bike the Slea Head Drive. We had reservations at 10 am and John showed up very punctually at 10 am! … read more He gave us a map and pointed out several highlights we should consider during our ride, which was very helpful. He also gave us his phone number should we ever have any issues along the way and to let him know when we returned the bikes. The e-bikes were WONDERFUL! Our whole group absolutely loved them. No more worrying about struggling to get up hills or ride against the wind…just pump up the electric assist and whoosh…piece of cake! The scenery and beauty of the Dingle peninsula were amazing and easier to enjoy when you’re on an e-bike. The whole ride took us about 5 hours for ~30 miles (~45 kms).
I told John before we left that this could be an expensive experience because my wife will probably want an electric bike after this…and sure enough, she does!
